Delaware County Bar Association Launches Enhanced Lawyer Referral and Information Service

The Delaware County Bar Association (DCBA) along with the Delaware County Commerce Center announced an enhanced Lawyer Referral and Information Service designed to simplify navigating the legal landscape for the Delaware County business community. This service provides direct access to qualified attorneys, free initial consultations, and valuable legal resources in one convenient platform.

"We understand that legal matters can be overwhelming and stressful," said Rachel Price, Executive Director of the DCBA. "Our goal is to provide Delaware County’s business community with the tools and resources they need to find the right legal help quickly and easily."

“We are thrilled to partner with Rachel and her team at the DCBA on this excellent new matchmaking tool,” said Laura Goodrich Cairns, Delaware County Commerce Director. “It is a great example of how we can keep it local by providing and promoting a technical assistance tool that pairs local professional attorneys with our Delaware County Small Business Owners to find solutions to their legal needs.”

  • Comprehensive Database of Attorneys: Access a network of experienced attorneys across a wide range of specialties and business legal needs including; Contracts, Trademarks, Patents, Incorporation, Filing Mechanics Liens, Business Finance, Civil Filings, Commercial Real Estate, Zoning and Land Use.

  • Streamlined Referral Process: Simply describe your legal needs through a secure online form or call the DCBA to discuss your situation. You'll be matched with an attorney who aligns with your specific needs and area of law.

  • Free Initial Consultation: Enjoy a 30-minute consultation with your referred attorney to discuss your case and receive initial legal advice, all at no cost.

  • Online Availability: DCBA’s referral service is accessible 24/7 through a secure online platform, allowing you to connect with legal assistance at your convenience.

  • Collaboration with Local Partners: As part of a collaboration with the Delaware County Commerce Center, when you discover DCBA’s services through either of these agencies, please let DCBA know for additional support.

Important Information:

  • A $25 referral fee covers the matching process and your free initial consultation.

  • Attorneys set their own rates for their services beyond the initial consultation.

  • DCBA staff cannot provide legal advice.
