Economic Development Corporation

Delaware County Economic Development Corporation (EDC): Formerly known as the Economic Development Oversight Board, was formed by Delaware County Council in 1990. The EDC is charged with encouraging economic development in the county. This entity does so through facilitating the retention of existing companies, and assisting in the formation of and attraction of new businesses, contributing to the vitality of all economy within Delaware County. As well, it is the management authority for all of the other agencies under the Delaware County Economic Development Corporation.
